Painting with light

Last night was going to be the last night I had up my Christmas lights for the year, so the last opportunity to have some fun with them.  They're 100Hz, so dotty.  I'll have to setup the incandescent ones somewhere one year to get solid lines.. :)

Fun! I like them, but at least I told how I did mine! Tell, tell. More twisting your hand or did you flip, throw, spin? Most my Christmas lights have already been stored away. ;-)

It was all just moving my big camera around. I did some sideways sweeps while moving up and down (zigzagging), some circles ("vertical" and "rotational"), a square, some up arcs, some down arcs, and some figure eight type things - holding the camera upside down then twisting around in a figure eight until upside down again.
